Cindy Waweru has been conducting public policy research at Visionary Analytics since 2025; she has been in the field since 2021. Thematically, her work focuses on the analysis and evaluation of digital policy and regulation, particularly frameworks aimed at governing and safeguarding digital spaces, including platform regulation and AI governance.

As a Junior Researcher, Cindy contributes to research and evaluation assignments by undertaking data collection through methods such as desk research, web scraping, literature reviews, and stakeholder interviews, as well as applying statistical modelling techniques. She carries out both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

She also develops outputs such as analytical reports, dashboards, research proposals, and statistical analyses for clients, including the European Commission, EESC, and UNI Europa.
