Austėja Švedkauskienė has been conducting public policy research at Visionary Analytics since 2022, she has been in the field since 2014. Thematically, her work mainly focuses on the analysis and evaluation of education, culture, and youth policy.

As a Research Manager, Austėja leads a research team working on education, culture, and youth topics and oversees the full research cycle, from designing conceptual and methodological frameworks to data collection, analysis, and the development of analytical reports and policy recommendations.

Throughout her career, Austėja has also worked on the topics of labour market, gender equality, sport policy, evaluation of the EU structural fund investments, foresight, and strategic planning. Austėja has designed and delivered studies along with evaluations using a wide range of methods, including interviews, surveys, case studies, theory-based evaluation, scenario development, and counterfactual impact assessment. Her portfolio includes working with clients such as DG EAC, DG EMPL, DG REGIO, Cedefop, JRC, EIT, European Parliament, EU social partners, and multiple others.
