Alyona Teplyshova has been conducting public policy research at Visionary Analytics since 2024. Thematically, her work focuses on analysis and evaluation of digital policy and platform regulation (notably the Digital Services Act), transparency and accountability of online platforms, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity dependencies.
As a Researcher, Alyona coordinates and conducts research or evaluation assignments from extensive data collection, methodology application to final output development, such as analytical reports and policy recommendations.
Throughout her career, Alyona has also worked on the topics related to labour market dynamics, collective bargaining, and social policy, including the social dimension of the green transition and occupational health and safety. Her work often explores how digital transformation interacts with employment conditions and workers’ rights. Alyona has designed and delivered studies along with evaluations using a wide range of methods, specialising in quantitative methods, including statistical analysis, econometric modelling, and large-scale dataset analysis, complemented by mixed-method approaches such as literature reviews, desk research, case studies, comparative analysis, and stakeholder interviews. Her portfolio includes working with clients such as the European Commission, European Parliament, European Economic and Social Committee, and UNI Europa, and multiple others.
