What have you gained from your internship? Aurinta

What key skills do you feel you have developed?

I can emphasize that this is not a common internship in which trainees are given the simplest work, and after internship, know what is being done but not how to do it. There was a bit different here and the trainee could touch a larger part of the researcher’s work and try to do it himself. I learned not even how to structure work, write it, but also how the assessment is organised, what steps can be done, how discussions are held and how to analyse and design given data.

What made you happy about your internship?

I was surprised how quickly one can be integrated into the team, so people working here made the experience invaluable. It was a pleasure to work with professionals in this field and to get a variety of tasks that that forced me to leave the comfort zone.

Suggestions for future interns

Do not hesitate to ask them questions. I learned a lot, because I asked a lot. Colleagues are happy to help and teach you something.
