What have you gained from your internship?

What key skills do you feel you have developed?Elze portretas maza1

fb2in2First of all, I gained insight into the workings of a policy research institute: what does a daily working routine consist of, what kinds of projects are being carried out, how do researchers share their tasks and how do they communicate the relevant information. Furthermore, I learnt more about the particular aspects of research, e.g. what does a particular research project consist of and how does it develop. Lastly, I became familiar with particular policy content, which in my case was learning about the developments of vocational education and training on a European level. I polished my analytic skills, learnt precision and acquired more discipline.

What made you happy about your internship?

I was glad to be given serious tasks and having been treated as

a potentially capable, rather than an incompetent, individual.

In addition, everyone was friendly and supportive throughout

my internship and therefore made me feel welcome.
