Management of intellectual capital in universities

Universities face increasing pressures to produce socially and economically valuable outcomes. This has led to adoption of a wide range of management techniques that emphasise cost efficient delivery of results, such as employability of graduates, impact of publications, number of patents, revenue from intellectual property and etc.
