What have you gained from your internship? Alexandra.jpg

What key skills do you feel you have developed?

– I have improved my academic writing
– I have learned about the process of writing tenders and proposals
– I have learned how to gather information and write efficiently
– I got acquainted with the field of policy analysis and advisory
– I have gained experience in analysing qualitative data
– I have learned how to arrange and conduct interviews.

What made you happy about your internship?

I liked that right at the beginning I was given a project which I could develop by myself (a case study), and that I could experience work on the case studies as well as tender writing. I was also very happy about the fact that I got the chance to work with several people as it contribute do my skills of working in a group and collaborating.

Suggestions for future interns

You may get tasks that seem random, but throughout your internship you will experience a broad range of a researcher’s tasks and work on different projects, including the process of proposal writing. After the internship you will have a good understanding of what a job like this entails.
