Expertise

 

Mariachiara is an affiliated researcher of Visionary Analytics for the

project “Impact of de‐industrialization and re-industrialization on skills”

(grant No. S-MOD-17-20). As well as, she is a lecturer in International

Business Environment at the Essex Business School – University of Essex

(UK). She obtained her PhD degree from Ca’ Foscari University Venice

(Italy) in 2014. Before joining Essex Business School, Mariachiara worked

as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the Birmingham

Business School – University of Birmingham (UK), and as a Post-Doctoral

researcher at Ca’ Foscari University Venice. She was visiting PhD student

at Cass Business School – City University London (UK). Her research

interests and work experiences focus on regional economic development, labour markets, economic geography, foreign direct investments, employment, industrial policy, and technological changes.
